LOVE THEME SCRAPBOOK

Hello!
Happy New Year everyone!
Today’s project is this very pretty flip and fold scrapbook that I have made using the Bob n Betty Paperstack . This scrapbook is based on the theme Love.
I have used the Bob n Betty paper collection in ‘Cottage Blush’ and ‘No one but you’, some diecut laces and tacky glue. The project has soft, floral, pink pastel backgrounds that keep up with the theme and add a calming element to the scrapbook.

In all, the album has 6 pages with lots of flips, pockets, folds and cards.
Also, there are tiny flowers among the pages along with tiny, queer love messages that add emphasis on the theme.

That’s it for today! I hope you liked and enjoyed this post.
Let me know in the comment section below!
Until next time.
Happy Crafting!

FLOWER FRAME

Hello! Today I’ll be showing you how I made a flower frame using the Enchanted mum paper collection by Heartfelt Creations. This is the first time that I have used waste paper cuttings from a stack in arranging the layout. It is an extremely fun and creative project.
Materials required :
  1. Enchanted mum die for flower
  2. Classic rose collection for leaf, die and stamp
  3. Colours archival ink pad
  4. Magenta hue colour
  5. Majestic violet colour
  6. For leaves :
    – Fern green
    – Library green
  7. Pollens
  8. Mdf sentiment
  9. Versamark
  10. White element
  11. Enchanted mum paper stack
Procedure
  • First take a 12×12 piece of Mountboard
  • Next, simply stick paper on it.
  • Then, for next layer tear the paper from the edges and roll it from the corners to give it a layering.
  • For flowers, take the enchanted mum diecuts in iris paper 190 gsm.
  • Cool it and emboss it with a simple ball tool on an embossing pad.
  • For embossing, move the tool from outside to the inside for inside curved petal and from inside to the outside for outside shaped petal.
  • For making 1 flower, I have used approx. 6 petals (3 petals inside curved and 3 petal outside curved)
  • For the leaves, emboss from back side ; for embossing move the tool along the shape of the leaf.
  • Then arrange some mdf cutting.
  • To give that white col, I have first used versamark, then used white element on it and then made it heat dry.
  • Lastly, I have arranged flowers , mdf cuttings, and paper cuttings in a beautiful manner.

MIXED MEDIA WATCHBOX

Hello!
Today I am going to show you how to make a mixed media watchbox. The method is pretty simple but the result is beautiful and fun!

Materials required :
  • One MDF Watchbox
  • Modelling Paste
  • Black and White Gesso
  • Wooden Embellishments (Designs of Gears)
  • Corrugated Sheet
  • Acrylic Paints by Art Alchemy (Rose Gold, Blue Gold and Green Gold)
Procedure :
  1. First, I textured the plain box with the modelling paste. (I prefer to use the Liquitex Professional Modelling Paste)
  2. After letting the box dry completely, I applied the black gesso on it. (I used the one by Pebeo studio)
  3. Next, I coloured the wooden embellishments with the black gesso and let it dry.
  4. After that, I assembled the wooden embellishments on the box in a beautiful manner.
  5. Using the corrugate sheet, I gave texture and dimension to the box.
  6. Next, I coloured it with Art Alchemy Acrylic Paint. I used the colours – Opal magic Rose Gold, Blue Gold and Green Gold to give the gears a magical look.
  7. Finally, I applied a light layer of white gesso as touchup.
